Adult Skaters The Carolinas Figure Skating Club and the Extreme Ice Center offer several programs for adult skaters. Our membership includes adults who compete in singles and dance as well as two adult synchronized skating teams. Our masters team made it to nationals in their first year of existence (2005) and won the pewter medal at nationals in 2006. The Extreme Ice Center offers Coffee Club classes for adults only on various weekday mornings. Students receive a lesson plus adults-only practice time each week. Coffee Club offers the adult skater the opportunity to learn new skills and to get to know other adult skaters. The Extreme Ice Center also offers adult level Learn To Skate classes. These classes are held in the evenings and on weekends and follow U.S. Figure Skating's Basic Skills Program Curriculum. Whether your goal is to compete nationally, make new friends, or learn new skills, we offer an adult program for you! |
