Meet the 2008-2009 Team Carolinas Synchronized Skating Team!
Pictured is CFSC’s very own synchronized skating team…Team Carolinas!
Our team of 10 girls ranges in age from 9-14 years old and skating levels range from pre-preliminary to juvenile MIF. This is their 2nd year competing at the pre-juvenile level. This season, their competition schedule has included competing at the Carolina Synchronized Skating Classic on November 2nd , 2008 in Hillsborough, NC where the team placed 2nd and competing in the Mountain State Synchro Competition in Charleston, WV on November 22nd, 2008. The team also skated an exhibition in the Skate A Gift Ice Show at XIC on December 13th, 2008 and at the Charlotte Checkers Game on Jan. 10th, 2009 at Bobcats Arena.
They competed in the USFS Eastern Synchro Sectional Championships in Morristown, NJ, on January 29-31, 2009, and came in 5th in the first round and 10th overall (25 teams total). It was a glorious skate and a team best according to their coach, Diana Dandro.
