The First Annual John Smith Memorial Competition took place on Friday, September 19th to Sunday, September 21st at the Extreme Ice Center in Indian Trail, NC (right outside of Charlotte, NC). This competition included:
- IJS Events,
- Non-Qualifying Events,
- Adult Events,
- Competitive Test Track,
- Basic Skills Events
The events included freeskate programs (singles and pairs), compulsory moves, showcase, solo dance, and couples dance.
