2009 Camp Care at Extreme Ice Center

Skaters from the Carolinas FSC volunteered at the 2009 Camp Care held at Extreme Ice Center on January 31, 2009.

Camp CARE (Cancer Ain't Really the End) provides a week long summer camp experience and monthly activities to children and teens who have (or have had) cancer. The goal is to provide an opportunity for these children/teens to be kids again and enjoy kid-like activities. It also provides the participants with a support network by connecting families and children who often feel they are alone in this battle. Camp CARE is a 501(c)(3).
